About Liggins Landscaping & Maintenance
Darrin Liggins – Founder & Visionary
Darrin Liggins established Liggins Landscaping & Maintenance (LLM) on March 31, 2019, with a vision to transform outdoor spaces into exceptional statement pieces and to build The Liggins Legacy—a commitment to excellence, creativity, and community impact. His passion for landscaping was cultivated during his tenure at Green Earth Landscaping in Port Orchard, where he refined his skills and discovered his ability to craft visually striking landscapes. Green Earth provided invaluable mentorship, inspiring him to take the leap into business ownership.
His time at Airport Garden Center in Port Angeles was equally influential. Under the leadership of Besty, also known as "Bam", Darrin gained hands-on experience and developed a deeper appreciation for customer service and community engagement. He credits Besty as one of the best employers he has ever worked for and a true role model for the Sequim community.
Darrin’s exceptional skills and meticulous attention to detail have allowed him to bring each client’s vision to life, earning LLM a distinguished reputation in the Sequim and Port Angeles regions.
In 2020, Darrin married Alicia Liggins, who then joined LLM as Office Manager. With her creative marketing acumen complementing his dynamic skill set, they are strategically redefining the landscaping industry through superior craftsmanship and dedicated customer service.
In 2022, LLM received accreditation from the Better Business Bureau, affirming its status as a premier landscaping company. Today, LLM serves over 500 commercial and residential clients and continues to grow.
Darrin’s dedication to the community extends beyond business. On January 1, 2024, he was elected as a Board Director for the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce. In 2025, he advanced to the Executive Committee and Membership Committee, furthering his commitment to fostering small business success and strengthening the Sequim community he is so passionate about.
Our Services & Future Growth LLM specializes in lawn maintenance, pruning, clean-ups, and winter snow/ice management. As a small, locally owned business, our objective is to deliver superior service combined with professional results. We are actively expanding our portfolio to better serve our clients' evolving needs.

Kicking Off 2025: Shoes with Souls Campaign
👟In partnership with Sequim School district our first initiative, Shoes with Souls, will provide Sequim students with gift cards to purchase new school shoes from Sequim Ross. Each year, we plan to increase the number of students we support. We believe that mental wellness, a positive mindset, and a strong support system are key to student success. By ensuring students have the confidence to start the school year on the right (and left) foot, we’re taking action to uplift our community. |
